HSC passed candidates can participate in the selection process for Data Entry Operator/Clerk conducted by Staff Selection Commission (SSC). Selection process for Data Entry Operator consist of a written test and skill test and that for Lower Division Clerk includes written test and typing test on Computer. Written test comprises of objective model questions from topics of English Language, General Awareness, General Intelligence, and Quantitative Aptitude.

Pattern for SSC Data Entry Operator/Clerk Written Test

Written test is conducted in objective model. There will be four sections for the written test comprising questions from the following topics.

Fifty questions are asked from each of these sessions. Total duration for the test is 2 hours. Extra time of 40 minutes is given for visually handicapped candidates.
