What is the age requirement to be fulfilled for the post of lecturer in Government jobs?

For applying to the position of lecturer in Government-run educational institutions in India, candidates must be between the age group of 21 and 35 years of age.

Educational Qualification required for the position of lecturer:

For the post of lecturer, candidates must have completed their post graduation in the respective field of education for which applications are invited. For instance, if applications have been invited for the post of Commerce lecturers, candidates must have completed their Master’s degree in Commerce.

Selection process for the post of lecturer:

Government-run educational institutions, normally recruit candidates for the post of lecturer through written test. Even some institutions conduct personal interview for candidates who successfully complete their written test. Even some institutions conduct personal interview alone without any written test.

Other eligibility requirements:

In addition to the aforesaid qualification requirements, some of the government organizations like National Council for Education Research & Training requires that candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test conducted by the University Grants Commission in the relevant subject for which applications are invited.
