National Institute of Ocean Technology shortly called as NIOT, is acting as a technical arm of the Government of India’s Ministry of Earth Sciences. The institute is functioning with the broad objective of promotion of technological development in activities pertaining to ocean resource utilization and ocean engineering. Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 63, which is divided among the different departments as follows:

• Mechanical – 16

• Electronics & Communication/Instrumentation - 13

• Electrical/Instrumentation – 05

• Civil – 10

• Electrical & Electronics – 02

• Computer Science/System Analyst – 04

• Electronics – 03

• Life Science / Life  or Chemical or Environmental Sciences - 10

Pay scale: Candidates will be coming under the pay of Rs.27300-30400
