After M.Sc in Agriculture, candidate can find job opportunities with Indian Agricultural Research Institute, National Seeds Corporation Limited, etc. Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture (CRIDA), North Eastern Region Agricultural Marketing Corporation, State Farms Corporation of India, etc are the other common recruiters.  In Kerala Agricultural University, M.Sc Agriculture graduates can take up the role of Research Associate, Trainee Studentship, Trainee Bioinformatics, Technical Assistant, Project Fellow, etc.

For trainee positions candidates are offered with stipend of Rs. 5000/- per month. For higher grade positions like Technical Assistant, employee can earn a salary up to Rs 11700/-per month. Rs 14880/- is the basic salary for the job profile of ‘Research Associate’.
