Industrial Research & Consultancy Centre is a reputed centre which mainly coordinats sponsored research and industrial consultancy projects at IIT Bombay. The major objective of the centre behind corodinating such projects is to solve problems arising in industry and conduct basic and applied reserach. The main idea behind the establishment of the centre was to provide support to researchers to liase with funding sources so as to be able to finance their reserach and development activities. The centre at times is also known for providing admin support for conduting reserach and other such activities.

Job Profile:

Applications are invited from the candidates ( who fulfill all the eligibility conditions and are also citizens of India) for filling up the vacant positions of Project Assistant, Research Associate and Technical Assistant. Candidates will be recruited only on temporary basis for a period of 1 year. The period of deputation is tenable only for the duration of the project. The recruitment on the specified positions is to be made for the sponsored project undertaken in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering of Industrial Research & Consultancy Centre. The project is entitled as “Empowerment of Student & Teachers through Synch & asynch instruction” under Ministry of Human Resource Development.

1. Recruitment of Project Assistant:
No. of posts: 2 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline with atleast six to one year experience in the administrative field. Candidates should also possess good communication skills and working knwoledge of computers.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 10000-16000 per month.

2. Recruitment of Technical Assistant:
No. of posts: 4 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Graduation in Science or Computer Applications. Candidates should also possess atleast six to one year experience in the programming field.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 10000-16000 per month.

3. Recruitment of Research Associate:
No. of posts: 4 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: B.E. or B.tech or M.E. or M.tech in the respective doamin is required for the post. candidates should have an excellent command over english language and should also have a sound knowledge of computer applications.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 16000-22000 per month.

Selection Process:

A personal interview test will be conducted by Industrial Research & Consultancy Centre for making selections of the eligible candidates for the above specified positions. Those candidates who performs well in this personal interview test, will only be considered by Industrial Research & Consultancy Centre at the time of final selections.
