Indian Institute of Spices Research (IISR) is an institute whose major function is to do research on Spices. This institute is a constituent body of the ICAR i.e. Indian Council of Agricultural Research. IISR organizes time tot ime media meet at its campus for their various projects.

Job profile:

Selected candidates for the post of Technical Assistant will be placed in Cardamom Research Centre, Madikeri and the selected candidates for the post of Stenographer will be placed in Indian Institute of Spices Research, Calicut.

Eligibility:

Two years experience in farm management in Research/Commercial farm is required for the post of Technical Assistant.

Educational Qualifications:

B.Sc. in Agriculture/Horticulture/Forestry is required for the posts of Technical Assistant and Matriculation or equivalent is the minimum educational qualification required for the post of Stenographer.

Age Limit:

For the posts of Technical Assistant: Candidates should be between 18-30 years of age.
For the posts of Stenographer: Candidates should be between 18-27 years of age.

Pay Scale:

Technical Assistant: Rs. 5200-20200/- + Grade Pay of Rs. 2800/-
Stenographer: Rs. 5200-20200/- + Grade Pay of Rs. 2400/-
