Vehicle Testing Manager - How to become a Vehicle Testing Manager?


The professionals who are supposed to measure the safety and reliability of Vehicles are referred to as Vehicle Testing Manager. They are also responsible for performance rating measures such as Homologation tests. The test plans for conducting the vehicle test are also developed by the Manager.  The testing process is done by comparing the vehicle performance against certain benchmark standards. The plan for timely completion of vehicle test also comes under the responsibility of Vehicle Testing Manager. They are also accountable to create reports on the issues identified in vehicle checking process.

Qualifying exam

The necessary qualification for the post of Vehicle Testing Manager is a bachelor degree in Engineering. The B. Tech degree should be obtained in any of the streams of Automobile, Mechanical, or Production. Working experience in automobile industry is also beneficial to obtain the job of the same.

Who are eligible to apply?

Those who have passed XII class from any of the recognized institution are eligible to apply for the bachelor degree course in Engineering. Apart from this, the pass in 12th class should be obtained with Science as the main subject. After completing B.Tech degree, the aspirant can apply to entry-level post in automobile industries.
