WBUT, B. Tech, 1st Year Engineering Chemistry Papers
The West Bengal University of Technology offers the course of four year based B.Tech. The first year Engineering Chemistry Paper is divided into parts, namely the theoretical part and the laboratorial part. The Laboratorial is of thirty marks and the theory is of seventy marks.
There are three sections in the Theory paper, namely Section A, Section B and Section C. Section A is a Multiple Choice based section, having thirteen numbers of questions, out of which candidates have to attempt any ten. Each of the Multiple Choice questions carries a maximum of one mark. Section B has a total of five short answer based questions, out of which candidates have to answer any three. Each of the questions in the following section carries a maximum of five marks.
Section C is a part having Long answer based questions. There are about five questions, out of which candidates have to attempt any three. Each of the questions in this section carries a maximum of fifteen marks. Each of the main questions in this section is divided into two or more number of sub-questions. There are no options while answering any one of the main question from this section.
