IFS Botany (Paper I) Papers
Indian Forest Services examination is conducted for the purpose of recruiting personals for the various posts under Indian Forest Department. The entire recruitment process is under the able hands of Union Public Service Commission of India. This type of jobs best suits those persons who like challenging tasks and who find it adventurous to roam in the jungles and look after the environment. The pay scales of IFS officers are very similar to that of an IAS officer and they get various other facilities which are there for an IAS officer.
Total marks and time allotted
The IFS Botany (paper I) paper carries 200 marks and is of 3 hours duration.
How the paper looks like?
The total number of questions which are to be attempted is 5 out of 8, of which questions 1 and 5 respectively from section A and section B are compulsory. Each question has been given equal weightage and carries 40 marks. In question 1 and question 5 the answers are to be written in not more than 150 words. Special credit will be given to those candidates whose answers are to the point and who have explained themselves very lucidly.
