Bihar State Milk Co-operative Federation Limited (COMFED) is a state level apex co-operative institution involved in producing milk and milk products under the brand name “Sudha”. The COMFED has different units and milk unions. It has 5 co-operative unions and 10 dairy plants with total processing capacity of 780 Thousand litres per day. Bokaro Dairy, Ranchi Dairy, Jamshedpur Dairy, MDP-Gaya, BDP-Biharsharif, KDP-Purnea & CFP-Ranchi are the different units of COMFED. VPMU-Patna, DRMU-Barauni, MMU-Samastipur, TIMUL-Muzaffarpur, VIMUL-Bhagalpur and SMU-Ara are the affiliated milk unions of COMFED. The different milk products produced by COMFED are pure ghee, butter, paneer, lassi, rasagolla, peda, ice-cream and milk cake.

Eligibility:

Age criteria – The maximum age limit is 37 yrs. But this upper age limit is relaxable as per rules.

Qualification and experience – Degree in Dairy technology with 3 yrs experience in relevant field is preferred.
