Institute of Management & Technology was established by the Pandit Govind Ballabh Pant Shiksha Samiti in the year 2005 on the month of August. The institute offers business administration and computer application courses with affiliation from the Kumaun University and Uttarakhand Technical University. Master of Business Administration (full-time):

The Full-time MBA programme offered by the Institute of Management & Technology extends to a period of two years. This course is approved by the AICTE and affiliated to the Uttarkhand Technical University with an intake capacity of 60 students per year.

Master of Business Administration (Part-time):

The Part-time MBA programme offered by the Institute of Management & Technology extends to a period of three years. This course is also approved by the AICTE and affiliated to the Uttarkhand Technical University with an intake capacity of 60 students per year.

The institute conducts regular evening classes for the convenience of office-goers and businesspersons under the MBA (PT) course.

Bachelor of Business Administration:

The BBA programme offered by the Institute of Management & Technology extends to a period of three years and this is a regular course. This course is affiliated to the Kumaun University with an intake capacity of 45 students per year.

Bachelor of Computer Applications:

The BCA programme offered by the Institute of Management & Technology extends to a period of three years and this is a regular course. This course is affiliated to the Kumaun University with an intake capacity of 30 students per year.
