SNAP Eligibility Criteria
The students who wish to get admitted for post graduation courses in institutes run by Symbiosis society need to qualify the Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test. The test is organised by Symbiosis International University. The candidates who clear the written test need to attend the GD and interview based on which merit list is published. The candidates are admitted on the basis of this list. Candidate’s preparation determines the success in the test and this test is considered as one of the toughest examination.
Qualifying Examinations for SNAP
Any graduate with 50 % marks can apply for SNAP. The candidates who belong to the reserved category are given 5 % relaxation in marks. The course should be a regular one and should be from an affiliated institute. Students from foreign countries can also apply for the test but they need to fulfill the eligibility criteria as per the rules of the institute.
Age Qualification for SNAP
Minimum age limit according to the notification for SNAP exam is 21 years, so interested candidates who satisfy the eligibility conditions can apply for the post. Those belonging to the reserved category are given relaxation in age. Those candidates who wish to avail relaxation in age should attach all documents to prove their eligibility for relaxation along with the form.
Exam Pattern of SNAP
Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) consists of four parts. There will be 180 multiple choice questions. Candidates will get two hours to answer these questions. There will be 60 questions from Analytical & Logical Reasoning part and 40 questions each from Quantitative techniques, General Awareness and General English. The candidates need to concentrate on each section and gain separate minimum marks. The candidates also need to keep in mind that for each wrong answer .25 marks will be reduced from the total marks scored by the candidate.
Application Details of SNAP
The candidates who wish to apply for the test can download the application from www.snaptest.org and can enter the relevant details without making any mistakes. The fee for SNAP examination is Rs.1, 500/-. The candidate can remit the fee amount either in the selected branches of Axis bank or can take DD and can sent it to the address specified in the notification. The candidate can make use of net banking or credit card facility to remit the fee amount.
