The Mathematics II papers exam is conducted by the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers for the 3 years diploma course. The paper includes the questions from trigonometry, algebra, matrix etc.

Qualification:

One must pass the matriculation or its equivalent exam from a renowned exam in order to sit in the IETE DIPIETE-ET Mathematics II papers. Candidates also have to cross a minimum of 14 years of age and the candidates appearing in the higher secondary can also eligible for this exam.

Scores and negative marking:

There are similar markings allotted for the entire questions excluding the first question which is of 20 marks and it does not have any negative marking on any objective or subjective questions.

Mode of exam:

The mathematics II Papers exam is a subjective based paper and candidates need pen/pencil to write the answers. The candidates get a separate answer sheet provided by the examiners.

Format of exam:

The paper format given to the IETE DIPIETE-ET (Old Scheme) Mathematics-II Papers includes objective and long answer type questions.

Paper pattern:

There are a similar paper pattern followed by the different entrance exam which is conducted by the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers. It includes nine questions out of which the first one is mandatory for all the students and from rest of the questions one should have to answer only five questions.

Markings:

The total marks or scores fixed for the ET (Old Scheme) Mathematics-II Papers are 100.

Schedule:

The total duration allotted for the DIPIETE- Mathematics-II Papers is three hours and candidates need to do their job within this given period of time.
