Profile:

Mormugao Port Trust was commissioned in the year 1888. Initially, Mormugao Port Trust was comprised of just 3 berths but later berths 4 and 5 were also build. At present, the breakwater has the length of approximately 522 meters. A mole of around 270 meters was also added in Mormugao Port Trust. There was a change experienced in the Mormugao Port Trust as the emphasis shifted to development of infrastructure. The port was delinked from the Railway management after some years.

Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to have done ITI in Mechanic Diesel.

Selection Process:

The selection process for the posts of Junior Engineer and Assistant Diesel Fitter includes both written examination as well as the personal interview session.
