With exploration studies on moon and other planets we were able to understand the significance of our atmosphere and ozone, which makes life possible on earth. With the help of astronomy we were able to determine and understand various phenomenon’s like greenhouse effect and ozone layer depletion which causes global warming. These studies lead to the realization of the impact of manmade pollution and its threat to human existence. Exploration of other planets has made us aware of the mineral resources that are available in those planets which can be utilized by human beings, if ours run out.
