The education market of India is rising with a rapid rate and vigorous growth. Under such circumstance, the demand for colleges and course has increased a lot. To meet up this demand, many colleges have come up with their courses and approach towards the subjects. Few institutes in this list have capabilities and potential beyond imagination, and they have constantly proved it. Amongst those institutes, Guru Nanak Institute of Management is one of the prominent names.

Located in Delhi, the Guru Nanak Institute of management is one of the premier institutes of management in North India. The institute offers many courses in various wings, however the PGDM and PGDM in retail management program of this institute is famous.

GNIM was formed and started imparting education in the year 1996. Since then, the college has maintained its high reputation. The college got started in the year 1996. Delhi Sikh Gurudwara management committee formed this college for the purpose of serving aspiring students from all over the country, with world class infrastructure and quality education.

The courses of the institutes are affiliated to the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and are approved by AICTE. Being a sick minority institute, the institute provided some locational advantage to the sick community.

Candidates are shortlisted for PGDM programme of GNIM on the basis of their CAT/MAT scores and for PGDM(Retail Management) programme only on the basis of MAT.  Candidates have to also apply separately for admission in GNIM. The candidates who are shortlisted on the basis of their scores in these exams have to appear in a further selection process consisting of a Group Discussion and Personal Interview after which the final selections are made.

Courses Offered:

PGDM: 120 seats

PGDM(Retail Management): 30 seats

Eligibility Criteria:

A candidate should have a bachelor’s degree  or equivalent from a recognised institute with atleast 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in Graduation(45% for Sikh students). Candidates in their final year of graduation can also apply.

Application forms for PGDM programmes of GNIM will be available directly from the institute and can be downloaded through the website www.gnimonline.org.

General Discussion/Personal Interview: mid of June, 2011

Selection process:

Candidates are shortlisted  PGDM programme of GNIM on the basis of their CAT/MAT scores and for PGDM(Retail Management) programme only on the basis of MAT. The shortlisted candidates are then called for further selection process consisting of a Group Discussion and Personal Interview.  Final selection is based on candidate’s performance in CAT/MAT, Personal Interview and Group Discussion.
