Profile:

Software Technology Parks of India was established in the year 1991 under the Ministry of Communicatiosn and Information Technology. It was established as a government agency in the country in order to manage the software technology park scheme. Software Technology Parks of India provides physical hosting for the National Internet Exchange of India. The major objective of the scheme is to provide physical infrastructure including dedicated high speed connectivity to the technology parks.
