Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering and Research was established under the Government of India. The major objective behind the establishment of the society was to acheive excellence in the area of application oriented research of Electromagnetics. One of the another objective of the society is to become a multi disciplinary institution in order to become able to cater the diversified applications.

Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering and Research is looking forward to make recruitments of eligible and dynamic professionals in various discplines. All selected candidates will be posted on the positions of Scientist C and Scientist B in the centre of Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering and Research located at Chennai.

1. Recruitment of Scientist C (Electronics):
Posts Available: Only 3 posts are available.
Age Limit: Age should be below 35 years.
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. or M.Tech or B.E. or B.Tech or equivalent with atleast 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6600.

2. Recruitment of Scientist C (Mechanical-Thermal):
Posts Available: Only 1 post is available.
Age Limit: Age should be below 35 years.
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. or M.Tech or B.E. or B.Tech or equivalent with atleast 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6600.

3. Recruitment of Scientist B (Electronics):

Age Limit: Age should be below 35 years.
Educational Qualification: B.E. or B.Tech or equivalent with atleast 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

4. Recruitment of Scientist B (Mechanical):

Age Limit: Age should be below 35 years.
Educational Qualification: B.E. or B.Tech or equivalent with atleast 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

Selection Process:

Initial screening of candidates will be based on their details in the application form. Only shorlisted candidates will then be allowed to appear for a written test at Chennai. Shortlisted candidates of written test will then be called for the interview test.
