Admission Procedure Details:

The selection of candidates will be on the basis of the marks obtained in the prescribed subjects in the qualifying examination.

Pattern of TNEA examinations:

Usually the test is divided into two parts. The questions based on Mathematics are for 100 marks and similarly the questions based on Physics and Chemistry is also for 100 marks.

However the latest pattern of the question paper is not yet out.

Eligibility for TNEA examinations:

A pass in the Higher Secondary (Academic) or its equivalent with minimum average marks of 55.00% in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together.

OR

A pass in any of the below-mentioned Higher secondary vocational stream courses with any of the relevant subjects namely chemistry, physics and mathematics with not less than 55% average marks.

OR

Any other equivalent qualification with relevant subjects approved by the Higher Secondary Board of Tamil Nadu.

Certain percentage of relaxation marks is permitted to the candidates falling under the following categories:

• SC/SCA/ST – Just a pass mark is enough

• DNC & MBC – 45% marks
