The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB), an independent recruitment agency, came into existence in the year 1973. The ASRB recruits people for Agricultural Research Service (ARS) of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). The ASRB helps the ICAR in matters related to personnel recruitment, and merit promotion assessment. The ASRB conducts all-India Competitive Examination for recruiting eligible candidates to entry level scientific positions of the ARS. The ASRB conducts National Eligibility Test for recruiting Assistant Professor/Lecturer in the State Agricultural Universities. The ASRB recruits Combined cadres of Administrative Officers/Finance & Accounts Officers of the ICAR   through direct recruitment.

Pay Scale –  Rs. 37400 - 67000 + RGP of Rs. 10000

Eligibility:

Age criteria – The maximum age limit is 52 years as on 14.02.2011

Educational qualification – The candidates must have Doctoral degree in relevant field and must have specific experience.
