The Guru Gobind Singh IndraPrastha University is one of the reputed and popular universities of India which provides different courses to the candidates. GGSIPU carries out a common entrance test for admittance to its different programs in the university and also its affiliated universities.

There are 1000 seats available for MCA program in GGSIPU and its affiliated universities. To join in this course, the candidate has to qualify in the common entrance test. Structure of the GGSIPU CET Exam

The Entrance Exam consists of objective type questions with four answer choices. The time allotted for the test is two and half hours. The questions will be asked from basic math, Computers, logical ability, English language etc.

Syllabus of the GGSIPU CET Exam

The Mathematics section covers the syllabus of profit and loss, numbers, percentage, time and distance, trigonometry, algebra, etc. They can study these portions from 10th and 12th standard book or they can refer some online guides. The candidate has to practice all sums and should memorize all formulas.

The computer awareness section covers the basic concepts of computer and its devices, arithmetic and logical operations, etc. The logical and analytical ability section covers the syllabus of odd man out, analogies, data sufficiency, etc. They have to work on many puzzles and quizzes to improve the reasoning skills.

The English language and comprehension section will get questions from synonyms, antonyms, idioms and phrases, prepositions, articles, reading comprehension, essay writing etc. The candidate has to set the time limit and complete the portions thoroughly.

They have to read newspapers and magazines everyday to improve their general knowledge and communication skills. The candidate has to practice the model question papers and mock tests every week.
