Office of Commissioner of Industries is the group of NT of Delhi. Applications are invited by the institute in prescribed form. Application form can be downloaded from the official website www.industries.delhigovt.nic.in reputed courses are offered by the institute to the candidates which are offered by the Government of India. The institute is situated at the Udyog Sadan for providing various courses along with the training facility to the aspiring candidates.
The candidates who are either college or school drop outs are provided the training of three months by the Commissioner of the Industries. Training opportunities are provided with the scheme of open job opportunities for them in various industries. The institute helps them in up gradation of their skills. Application must be the age between 18- 25 years. The scheme is especially for the candidates who are either college drop outs or school drop outs. The main aim of this program is to develop such quality within candidates that they can take up self employment which is permissible in the plan of Delhi through industry, service sector and business routes.
There are various courses which are especially for the school drop outs which creates job opportunities for them in the Electrical house wiring, repair of Radio and TV, tailoring and carpet weaving, mending of shoes and other. Other job opportunities are for the tenth pass and college drop outs as computer training, data processing, fashion tailoring, footwear designing, refrigerator and air conditioner repairing, paper craft, repair of domestic and other electrical appliances including electrical appliances including electrical goods and beauty parlor and hair dressing.
Interested applicant can ill this form only if they fulfill all the criteria along with attested copy of all the required documents.
Courses Offered:
• Carpet Weaving Training at Weavers (1 year)
Eligibility Criteria:
• Minimum Qualification for admission to the course is 10th Class of 10+2 pattern.
Training will be imparted:
• General Textile Technology
• Textile Calculation
• Colour Theory and Free- hand Drawing
• Weaving Theory
• Textile Chemistry
• Practical in Carpet and Daree Weaving, Macrame work, Textile Chemistry, Tie and Dye and Batic

• For applying candidates may require Application Form. The same can be obtained by downloading from the website given below and are also available free of cost from the Address given below. The applications complete in all respects along with attested copies of certificates etc. should reach Office of the Carpet Training Officer, Carpet Weaving and Training Centre, Govt. of N.C.T. of Delhi, Weavers’ Colony, Bharat Nagar, Delhi-110052.
