National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute was established as an autonomous institute under the Government of India. The institute comes under the Department of Biotechnology which in turn comes under the Ministry of Science and Technology. The institute is located at Mohali, Punjab. The major idea behind the establishment of the institute was to lead the transformation of agri-food sector in India. The institute actually came into existence as a nodal organization for knowledge generation and translational science. One of the major function of the institute is to develop synergy among knowledge providers.

2. Recruitment of System Analyst (High Performance Computing):

Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.
3. Recruitment of Technical Officer (Software Support):

4. Recruitment of Technical Officer (Database):

5. Recruitment of Assistant Engineer (Electrical):

6. Recruitment of Senior Technical Assistants:
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 26 years.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.
Application Fee:
Rs. 100 is the amount of application fee that is need to be submitted by all the interested candidates belonging to General and OBC cateories. No application fee is to be submitted by the reserved categories candidates. The application fee must be submitted through Demand Draft issued by State Bank of India only. The Demand Draft must eb drawn in favour of National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute, Mohali payable at Phase- 1 Br., Mohali.
