Salaries after M.Pharm in Government Organizations
A wide avenue of job opportunities are made available for students of M.Pharm with the armed forces, the Drug Control board, the health sector, agricultural firms, research institutes and many others. If they wish to take up teaching as their occupation, they can find employment as lecturers with pharmacy colleges and universities. It is also possible for individuals to run their own pharmaceutical shops.
Government employees will fall into different pay scales depending on the job profile. They could typically fall in the range Rs. 8000 – 25,000 a month along with the other benefits. The salary of teachers and lecturers will be determined according to the norms of the Indian government. The remuneration of people who have their shops will depend upon the profit they get.
Salaries after M.Pharm in Private Institutions
Individuals can get work as medical representatives or with research institutes. Those who have a doctorate in this subject can play senior roles in research industry and can earn up to Rs. 50,000 and more a month. Some firms also pay Rs. 1 lakh to people with the right qualification and experience.
Some of the other places where employment opportunities are available are the food and cosmetic industries. They take in pharmacists with good experience. The responsibility of the candidates within these industries will be to test the efficiency as well as the safety of the products manufactured.
Within industries as these, the initial remuneration of the students will be as much as Rs 4,000. Research scientists will have a monthly income of Rs.10, 000 – Rs. 40,000. Medical Representative will get around Rs. 5,000 - 10,000 a month and Hospital Pharmacists will get Rs.3, 000 - 5,000 a month. Sales representative also enjoy sales commissions. Manufacturing Pharmacists will have a salary of Rs. 5,000 every month.
Remuneration after M.Pharm in Private Practice in India and Abroad
Candidates who wish to work abroad will have wide career opportunities. They can work with drug companies, hospitals, universities or agencies of the state government. Moreover, school placement offices as well as professional associations will have lists of job openings. The salaries of these individuals will depend upon the qualification, experience and the category of the firm that hires them. Those with experience will make around 50,000 to 90,000 USD. The benefits will contain paid vacations, insurance and retirement plans. Again this would depend on country, job profile and firm size.
