Company profile: It came into act on 31-3-1957. Over the years the organization has grown to meet the need of domestic and industrial users. To meet the need of ever growing demand of power it is planning to set up more plants and also spread its transmission and distribution network.

Job Profile: An assistant engineer will be required to help the organization in designing and planning the plants for power production and lay off transmission lines in various areas.

Eligibility: Only Indian citizens can apply. The age of a candidate must be between 19and 39 years as on 01.01.09 (relaxation can be claimed for reserved categories as per the govt. rules).

Qualification required: A candidate must have a degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university OR an associate diploma of the Institute of Engineers India in Civil
Engineering or any other Diploma recognized by the govt.

No. of posts: There is total no. of 22 vacancies available which can be further distributed among different categories.

Pay Scale: The pay scale of the candidate will be Rs. 13215 -20655.

Training and Bond: The candidates will be given an initial training for one year and they have to sign a bond for serving the company for minimum four years (including the training period) in the defence services if required. The candidates have to fill in a declaration form available in the advertisement.

Selection process: The candidates will be short listed on the basis of their qualification and eligibility and the merit list will be made and the candidates will be recruited through a direct process.
