The maximum marks carried by the examination are 100 and the duration of the test is three hours.

Divisions of the Paper

The paper consists of three sections, all of which have different types of questions.

In the question paper of Data Warehousing and Data Mining (MB3G1IT), there are three sections. The first section is Basic Concepts. 30 multiple choice type questions are given in this section. Each question carries one mark and all of them are compulsory. The time allotted for this section is 30 minutes at maximum.

The second section is Caselets. This section carries 50 marks. Two or sometimes three caselets are given in this section, based on which some questions are given. All the questions are to be answered. All the questions are detailed answer type questions. Students should not give more than 120 minutes to this section.

The third section has Applied Theory questions. Two questions are there in this section. Each of the questions is of 10 marks. 30 minutes are allotted for this section.
