Army Institute of Nursing (AIN) Gauhati was established in the year 2006. The institute works under the control of Army Welfare Education Society. The Society runs 12 professional colleges and 117 Army Schools.

The Army Institute of Nursing (AIN) offers the undergraduate course in the field of nursing.

The undergraduate course available in the institute is B. Sc (Nursing). The duration of the course is three-and-half years including six months of compulsory internship.

Eligibility criteria for getting admission:

The candidates, who have passed 10+2 or higher secondary examination (in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects) with at least 50 % marks, are eligible to apply for the B. Sc (Nursing) course. They must get qualified in the Combined Written Admission Test (C-WAT) conducted by the Gauhati University, in order to get admission for the B. Sc (Nursing) course in the institute.
