Rajasthan Public Service Commission was resulted after an ordinance was promugalted on August 16, 1949. Initially, the commission started off with only one Chairman and two members. Sir S. K. Ghosh was the first chairman of the commission. In order to regulate the working of the commission, two regulations were issued under the provisions of the COnstitution of India named The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (Conditions of Service) Regulation, 1951 and The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (Limitation of Functions) Regulation, 1951.

Job Profile:

Rajasthan Public Service Commission is inviting online application for the following positions of Senior Teacher (Grade-II) in Secondary Education Department of Rajasthan Government. Candidates should meet with all the eligibility conditions set for the specified post. The posts are available for the subjects like Science, Mathematics, English, Hindi and Social Science.

Eligibility:

The minimum age limit set for the specified post is 18 Years.
The maximum age limit set for the specified post is 35 Years.

Candidates are required to have age more than the 18 years but not more than the maximum age limit set for the post i.e. 35 years.

Educational Qualification:

Graduation degree or equivalent examination in concerned discipline from any recognized institute or university is required for the post of Senior Teacher (Grade-II) in Rajasthan Public Service Commission. Interested candidates should have acquired the minimum educational qualification presribed above or else their application will not be considered by the commission under any circumstances.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will get the prescribed amount of salary i.e. Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 3600.

Application Fee:

Rs. 250 is the application fee need to be paid by General Category candidates. Rs. 50 is the amount of application fee that is need to be paid by the candidates belonging to SC/ST categories. OBC category candidates are required to submit an application fee of Rs. 150 only.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected on the specified post on the basis of their performances in the written test followed by a personal interview test. Only successfull candidates of the written examination, will be called for the interview test. The final selection of the candidates will be made only on the basis of his/her performance in interview test.
