Recruitment by Assam Rifles:
Assam Rifles has planned to conduct a recruitment rally in the cities of Dimapur and Guwahati in the states of Nagaland and Assam respectively from the 14th of September 2011 onwards for recruitment of male candidates belonging to different states for the position of Havildar (Clerk)

Eligibility Requirement:
Educational Qualification: To apply to the position of Havildar (Clerk), candidates must have completed their 10+2 (matriculation with mathematics & English) and they should have typing speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi.

Age: Candidates must be between the age group of 18 and 23 years of age as on the 1st of August 2011. Upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST candidates and three years for OBC Candidates.
Cost of Application:
The cost of application of Rs. 50 (not applicable to SC/ST candidates) should be paid in the form of DD drawn in favor of Directorate General, Assam Rifles payable at SBI DGAR, Shillong.
