What is the salary of a cbi officer ... can you please reply

CBI stands for Central Bureau of Investigation,

which is the main investigation agency of India. The agency has different ranks for the officers and the salary of a CBI officer varies from rank to rank.

However, the range of the salary is fixed by the Indian Government and the range is $1450 to $2400 per year excluding different benefits such as medial allowance , housing allowance, family allowance, allowance, travel leave allowance, city compensatory allowance etc.

It depends on the post your going to take

Some of the data available with me is

for example

if you are applying for the public prosecutor in CBI then the Salary of yours will be

Rs.15600-39100 +Rs.5400(Grade pay)(T.E.Rs.28350)

for general posts like

Sub Inspectors and all will get

the basic pay will be 14k to 20k

this is the exclusive money apart from the facilities provided by Department

So the life will be very secured

My friend you did not say in which post you want to want to know the salary.The salary is different for different posts.you know there are so many posts.

Yet a CBI officer should get 16000 to 35000 basic pay.

What is the salary CBI officer

Apart from basic pay DA as per 15600 - 39100 GP 5400 pay scale, what are other emoluments of a CBI Public Prosecutor in monetary terms which add to his monthly carry home package? Is it called total Gross Salary? Is he also paid any special risk pay?
Is a Public Prosecutor CBI entitled to facilities like official car, driver, servant, bodyguards etc?

Qualification of CBI officer:
To become an CBI officer, you have to pass Bachelor's degree course in any stream from recognized university.

Your age should be in between 20-27 years, sc/st 5 years relaxation and OBC 3 years.

Gender:
both male and female eligible to become an CBI officer but should be a citizen of india.

Physical standard:
Height- 165cms
Chest- unexpanded- 77cms
expanded- 82 cms
Weight- proportionate to height and as per medical standard in force.
