D.N. Patel College of Engineering was established by the P.S.G.V.P. Mandal and the college began its journey in the academic year 1983-84 in the name of College of Engineering & Polytechnic for offering technical training and education to the students belonging to the backward areas. The inauguration of College took place in the year 1983 on the 22nd of August and the college is offering engineering education with affiliation from the North Maharashtra University and polytechnic education with approval from the Technical Education Board of the Maharashtra Government.

Eligibility requirement & admission procedure:

For seeking admission to the degree courses, candidates must have completed their higher secondary in PCM with 50% of marks in the case of open category candidates and 45% in the case of reserved category candidates. Admission of students to these courses is done based on the Maharashtra CET score secured by the candidates. Diploma holders in appropriate field are permitted to apply directly to the second year of the degree course.

Facilities offered by the college:

College of Engineering, Nandurbar District offers wide range of facilities like gymkhana, co-operative stores, staff quarters, guest house, residence for principal. There are also other facilities like internet lab, separate messes for boys and girls in the boys and girls hostel, cafeteria, etc…  The internet lab in the college offers free internet access to the students and there are other facilities like communication centre, dispensary, etc…
