Bihar Agricultural University was established under the Government of India. The university actually came into existence as an agricultural College. It is one of the six agricultural colleges established during year 1906 to 1910. It is a premier institution based on the Agricultural Education and Research in the country. initially, the university was started off as Bengal Provincial Agricultural College, Sabour but later it got its present name. Post Graduation education was included or provided to students by the university in the year 1955.
