GBTU SEE is an entrance examination for the admission process in engineering colleges of Uttar Pradesh. The entrance exam is held every year for the aspirants of engineering. Main examination centre is Lucknow and this paper is for both government and private aided colleges. Both engineering & pharmacy courses are available through this test.

Qualification for appearing in this exam:

Students appearing for this paper must possess a pass certificate of class 12 from any recognised board/institution either from UP board or any other board. Marks required should be 50% in the qualifying examination. Also, it is compulsory that students should have passed qualifying subject group in all the qualifying paper.

Scoring and Negative Marking:

Questions asked are of objective type and asked questions are with multiple choices and these questions are of equal marks. There are no negative markings in this paper.

Mode of Exam:

Paper is required to be answered on an OMR sheet by the students as it is a conventional paper.

Format:

Paper contains objective type questions of multiple choices and there are 150 questions which are needed to be answered. All questions have only one correct option which has to be marked in the OMR sheet.

Paper Pattern:

Paper of Chemistry of this entrance exam is an objective one; each question comes with 4 choices. Total no. of questions is 150 and each carries same marks in it. There is no provision of negative marking in the paper. Questions are of class 12 standard.

Marking:

Questions asked in the paper carries equal marks in it and total marks are 600. There may be more than one correct answer of a particular question, but that is a rare case.

Schedule:

Total time given to the paper is 3 hours only.
