Master of Public Health (MPH) is a postgraduate course which is an emerging course in the medical field. It is a course of 2 year duration. The candidate has to study matters dealing with public health. The responsibilities include researching on certain matters dealing with health issue, planning to overcome that issue and also to evaluate that process. Once a candidate comes out successful after doing MPH they can look forward for a valuable career both in India and also abroad.

Application procedure for doing MPH abroad

The application procedures will be different and based on the institution or which university or which country the candidate is choosing for studying MPH. However there will be an entrance exam conducted by most of the Universities. Most of the Universities also conduct special entrance tests for foreign candidates. There are also some criteria to be followed to study abroad. The candidates should be ready with the migration certificates and also the recommended documents well in advance.

Eligibility criteria for doing MPH abroad

The aspirant who has successfully completed Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Master of Arts (MA) or Master of Science (M.Sc) or equivalent can apply for MPH abroad. The course must be completed from a recognized University and also they should have an aggregate of at least 50%.

Exam qualification criteria for admission to MPH abroad

The candidate must pass the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) to study in Universities of USA, UK, Canada or Australia. The score of GRE which is needed for admission vary according to the chosen University. Some Universities conduct independent exams. Most of the Universities insist a good score in Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
