The term Laheriasarai, might be new to most of us, but it is a popular name among the people of Bihar since it is a city located in the Northern Bihar and is considered as twin city of the District of Darbhanga. The name of the city was derived from the caste called Lahiri engaged in making of Lahathi (Lac Bangle).
