IETE has a part time course namely ALCCS of 3 years duration. This course is provided to the students in Hyderabad and New Delhi. The Numerical Computing Paper is conducted for the admission of students to the Numerical wing of this course.

Qualification for appearing in this exam:

The minimum eligibility to appear for the exam is a degree in B.Tech/B.E/AMIETE/AMIE or MCA or M.Sc. candidates possessing any one of the mentioned qualification can apply confidently for this examination.

Scoring and Negative Marking:

No negative marks are allotted for the wrong marking in this paper. If any answer is wrong zero marks are awarded to the candidates.

Mode of Exam:

Separate sheets are provided for question 1 and the remaining half of the paper. The answer sheet for question 1 is collected after half an hour of the commencement of the exam.

Format:

The paper consists of objective questions in the first question and rest questions are subjective type. The subjective questions are further subdivided.

Paper Pattern:

The paper contains objective questions in the first questions and remaining questions are subjective. The number of questions in the paper is 9 out of which question 1 is compulsory and from the remaining 8 questions only 5 are to be attempted. The subjective questions carry equal marks each.

Marking:

The paper carries a total of 100 marks, the first question carries 20 marks and the remaining questions divide equally 80 marks. There is no provision of negative marking in the paper.

Schedule:

The maximum time allotted for the paper is 3 hours. The answer sheet for the first question is collected just after half an hour of the commencement of the paper.
