Candidates can seek admission to B.Tech, B.Arch, M.E, M.Tech and MCA courses offered at NIT Raipur only through entrance tests like All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE), Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) or All India MCA Common Entrance Test (AIMCET).

Total fee to be paid for B.Tech/B.Arch course is Rs. 1, 03, 390/- while for M.E/M.Tech course is Rs. 81,010/-. Candidates should pay a total amount of Rs. 1, 20, 390/- for MCA course.

Admission Procedure

B.Tech / B.Arch - Those who have obtained a valid score in All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) can apply for B.Tech / B.Arch in NIT Raipur. The institute will select eligible candidates from the applications according to their AIEEE score and call them for interview. Students clearing the interview will be offered admission.

M.E/ M.Tech - Candidates can seek admission to relevant M.E/M.Tech course according to their score obtained in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). The competent authority will conduct interview of those who get short listed from the applications.

MCA - To join MCA course, one should complete graduation in science stream from any institute approved by University Grants Commission (UGC). Candidates are required to qualify All India MCA Common Entrance Test (AIMCET). The institute will give admission to this course according to AIMCET score.
