Admission to the course of Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (2013) will be carried out on the basis of national level entrance exam, National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET). The examination is conducted by The Medical Council of India (MCI). There will be objective type questions from the science subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the examination. Of these, 70% of the questions will be from Biology. Candidates can expect plus two level questions in this exam.

Questions in the multiple choice objective type format can be expected. There will be a maximum of two hundred and fifty questions. Each question carries one mark. Of these seventy five questions will be from Physics and Chemistry each. Remaining 100 questions will be from Biology. Maximum time allotted for attending all questions is 3 hours. Maximum marks allotted for the entire test is 250. Candidates are required to secure a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate so as to become qualified. Those who belong to reserved categories require at least 40% marks to qualify this exam.
