Details on Association Post Graduate Homeopathy Common Entrance Test (ASSO- PGH-CET) 2013
BHMS graduates having completed one year internship program can submit applications for post graduate homeopathy (PGH) course. Admission to the course is done on the basis of a common selection test - Association Post Graduate Homeopathy Common Entrance Test (ASSO-PGH-CET). There will be 250 objective model questions for the test based on the syllabus of BHMS course. The tentative date to submit applications is 13th March, 2013. Application forms can be collected from the official portal of AMHMCM or through post.
Eligibility Criteria for ASSO-PGH-CET
Graduate degree in Homeopathy (BHMS) or any other equivalent qualification is necessary to attend ASSO-PGH-CET. Apart from this, it is also compulsory to finish a rotating internship for at least 1 year. Those candidates who are currently doing the internship program can also apply for this course provided they are able to complete the internship program before the commencement of the selection process for this course.
Pattern for ASSO-PGH-CET
Selection test is conducted in objective model, covering questions from subjects studied during the BHMS course. ASSO-PGH-CET comprises a total of 250 questions to be completed within 3 hours time duration. Following are the main subject areas to be studied for attending ASSO-PGH-CET –
- Pathology - 15 marks
- Surgery (Gen Surgery, ENT, Orthopedic) - 20 marks
- Preventive & Social Medicine - 20 marks
- Physiology – 15 marks
- Pharmacy – 25 marks
- Organon of Medicine & Homoeopathic Philosophy – 25 marks
- OB/GY – 20 marks
- Medicine (Gen- Medicine, Pediatrics, Psych.) – 35 marks
- Homoeopathic Repertory - 25 marks
- Homoeopathic Materia Medica – 25 marks
- Forensic Medicine & Toxicology – 15 marks
- Anatomy – 10 marks
The result of the selection along with the merit list of qualified candidates will be published in the official AMHMCM website.
Application Procedure for ASSO-PGH-CET
Candidates can obtain the application form from the specified centers after taking a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs 500/-. It is necessary to take the DD from any of the nationalized banks on behalf of AMHMCM and it must be payable in Mumbai. It is also possible to obtain application form from the Association office via post, provided candidates should pay an extra postal charge of Rs 200/-. Filled up application forms must be submitted to the office of AMHMCM (either personally/post/courier) before last date. While submitting the application form, candidates will be offered with a Receipt cum Identity Card. This must be kept safe for future reference. Candidates can download the final admit card for the written exam by logging in to the official site of AMHMCM.
