Career opportunities available in Space Science

The career opportunities available for students of space science are many and varied. Many institutions engaged in the study of astronomy within our country like IIA, offer job opportunities to astronomers. Job opportunities are also available for them with big Public sector institutions such as Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) and Indian Space Research Organization [ISRO]. Graduates of Space Science can also get jobs with national as well as international organizations as to help them in space research. Here, they will be required to collect soil and other samples to determine the existence of life forms on other planets. They will also be needed to assist in the maintenance and construction of space crafts/ space ships.
