The responsibilities of an environmental engineer include depletion of the ozone layer, acid rain, wildlife protection and automobile emissions. Global warming is one other area that is studied by Environmental engineers.

The students after completion of the program can find jobs with R&D firms, wildlife sanctuaries, meteorology departments and organizations that prevent water pollution.
