Admission Procedure

Admission Procedure for M.Tech Programmes - Candidates who seek admission to M.Tech programmes are required to secure first class marks in their four-year bachelor’s degree in engineering such as BE or B.Tech. Candidates who have completed post graduation in any of the physical sciences and MCA degree holders with a first class marks are also eligible to apply. Final year students can also apply. Applicants should have a valid GATE score card.

Admission Procedure for MS by Research: Candidates who have a first class degree in BE/ B.Tech are eligible to apply for this course. Master degree holders in subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Electronics with a minimum of 60 % marks can also apply for the course. Admission to the MS. Research programmes will be based on the performance of the candidates in the qualifying degree. The institution will consider submitted records of prior academic work and other projects showing aptitude for research, and performance in personal interview for admission.

Admission to PhD programmes - The minimum qualification required is a first class four-year degree in a technical discipline such as B.E or B.Tech. But candidates having first class Master’s degrees in the mathematical sciences such as M.Sc. in mathematics, physics, statistics, or electronics can also apply. Final selection will be on the basis of submitted records of prior academic work and other scholarships showing aptitude for research, and performance in personal interview.
