Admission process for B.Tech Programmes

Candidates who are seeking admission to B.Tech programmes have to clear the common entrance exam VTUEEE, conducted by the university. Candidates who have completed their higher secondary with physics, chemistry and mathematics as compulsory papers are eligible to write this entrance exam. Candidates who have studied in Regular, Full time and Formal Academic or Vocational Education stream alone are eligible to apply. Final selection of the candidates will be based on the composite scores obtained by the candidates in the entrance exam and in the qualifying degree.

Entrance Exam

Vel Tech Technical University Engineering Entrance Examination is an All India Common Engineering Entrance Examination conducted by the University for Admission of candidates to engineering programs leading to four year Bachelor of Technology degrees. The test consists of one paper consisting of three parts. There will be 100 objective type questions. Each question carries one mark and there will be no negative marking for wrong answer.

Admission process for M.Tech Programmes

Candidates who have completed their B.Tech with good academic records are eligible for M.Tech programmes. Candidates can apply for the respective areas that they have studied in their graduation.
