Eligibility Criteria for Full time B.Tech courses in VEL TECH

It is essential to pass 12^th class either from a recognized institution or central board to apply for full time B.Tech course. Those candidates who have completed intermediate level or Pre University examination conducted by a recognized board or University are also eligible to apply for the same. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics should be opted as main subjects along with a minimum of 45% marks in this level to apply for this course.

Eligibility Criteria for Part time B.Tech courses in VEL TECH

Candidates must hold a diploma qualification in engineering or technology from a recognized institute along with one year of industrial experience. On the other hand, B.Sc graduates having studied Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics as main subjects can apply for the same provided they have at least 1 year of industrial experience.

Admission to both full time and part time courses is done on the basis of entrance exams like AIEEE/IIT JEE.

The number of companies visited the college during the academic year 2011-12 is 108 and number of students benefitted out of this is 1136.
