Andhra University M.Sc Geology Entrance Test 2012
Andhra University is famous for its top quality education provided in various graduate level, post graduate level, doctoral as well as post doctoral programs in various specializations. The candidates interested in joining for this course will need to appear for the entrance exam conducted by the university itself. Like wise this University conducts M.Sc Geology Entrance Test annually for the purpose of selecting eligible candidates for admission into Master of Science in Geology course offered at the institution.
Structure of Andhra University M.Sc Geology Entrance Test
The exam comprises of questions of objective nature with multiple choices. There will be a total of 90 questions. The total time duration of the exam will be 75 minutes. There will be three sections. The first section comprises of 40 questions and the total marks for this section will be 40. The second section comprises of 30 questions and the total marks for this section will be 30. The third section comprises of 20 questions and the total marks for this section will be 20. For each correct answer, the candidate gets 1 mark and for each wrong answer 1/4 marks will be deducted.

Eligibility Criteria
The candidates who hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from a recognized University can apply for this exam. They have to study any two of the following subjects in their qualifying exam.

How to apply?
The application forms can be obtained from various sales counters by paying Rs.300/-. They can also obtain the form by post. For that they have to send a request for form along with a DD of Rs.350/- drawn in favour of ‘The Director’, ‘AUCET’, Directorate of Admissions payable at Visakhapatnam. The completely filled application form should be send to ‘The Director’, AUCET, Directorate of Admissions, Visakhapatnam.
How to fill the Form?
Before filling the form the candidate has to go through the instruction bulletin given in the exam brochure. The candidate has to fill their name in block letters and it should match with that in the original certificates. They should mention their contact details without making any mistakes. They should also specify their date of birth, category and qualification details in the appropriate places accurately. They should affix their recent passport size photograph in the specified places as well.

The candidate should be aware of the complete syllabus of the exam. I HAVE GOT 59TH RANK AT AUCET ENTANCE EXAM FOR M.SC. GEOLOGY. IAM FROM KERALAUNIVERSITY.KERALA.MY 3RD YEAR PRACTICKAL EXAM MAY BE ON 14TH AND 15TH JUNE.THERE FORFORICOULD NOT SUBMIT MY CERTIFICATE FOR VARIFICATION IN TIME.IREQUEST YOU TO ALLOW ME SOME TIME TO PRODUCE ORIGINAL CERTIFICATE UP TO THE DATE 20.06.2012
for how many marks exam will be conducted
