Annamalai University is a renowned residential university of India. The University offers a number of courses which include both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Annamalai University was the first in our country to offer postgraduate courses in the distance learning mode of education. Among the PG courses offered by the University one is M.A. in Political Science. This course is a common and popular course in India. The course is of duration of two years.

In the second year of the course there is a paper on international relations. The duration of the exam is three hours with a total of 100 marks. The question paper is divided in two sections. Section A consists of eight questions out of which five are to be answered. Each question carries eight marks. The questions are to be answered in around 300 words. The sub total of this section is 40 marks.

Section B consists of five questions out of which three are to be answered. Each question carries 20 marks. The questions are to be answered in about 1200 words. The sub total of this section is 60 marks.

The questions are all subjective type, but they should be to the point and in the candidates’ own language. This is necessary to fetch good marks.
