Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission came into existence on January 25, 1971 under the Government of India. The commission was actually established under Article 318 of the Constitution of India. Initially, the needs of the state of Himachal Pradesh were served by Union Public Service Commission but later, Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission was established to serve the needs of the state of Himachal Pradesh.

Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission is inviting application from the citizens of india for the posts of Ayurvedic Medical officers in the Ayurveda Department of Himachal Pradesh.

Eligibility:

Candidates should not have age more than 45 years which is the prescribed maximum age limit set for the post of Ayurvedic Medical Officers in Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should have prescribed educational qualification for the post. Five year Degree in Ayurveda is required as the qualfication for the specified post of Ayurvedic Medical Officers in Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission.

Pay Scale: Candidates will get the prescribed emoluments of Rs. 15300 per month.
