Bachelor of Arts in English is a 3 year undergraduate program which helps the aspirants to study about English literature, various writing of famous writers such as Chaucer, Shakespeare, Milton, Dickens and so on. The scope of acquiring a job after B.A English in various fields such as BPOs, KPOs, business organizations, civil services, communication management, law, tourism administration, library and information science, media, etc are increasing day by day and hence the number of students joining this course is also tremendously increasing. Higher studies after B.A in English is yet another option other than securing a job after the bachelor course by which the candidate can take a masters and then a doctoral degree in the field and hence a good paying career.

Eligibility for B. A. English Course

For pursuing a B.A English course, the aspirant should have successfully completed 10+2 standard or equivalent in English medium from any of the recognized board.

Selection for the B. A. English after 12th

The candidates those who have passed their 12th from any institutions under a recognized board can apply for the B.A in English course. The candidates can apply for their preferred institution either by online or offline mode offered by the institution. Based on the marks obtained in 10+2, a merit list will be published and those candidates in the merit list will be called up for the interview. Those clearing the interview will be admitted for the B.A English course.
