The course is related to the detailed coverage of the history of the Bengali Literature. The course provides an ideal exposure and experience to different genera of the Bengali Literature and different reasons for the changing view of the subject with respect to the Society. The course also covers relations of the specific genera of the composition along with the different historical events and different aspects that can be associated with the historical wings.

Eligibility:

The candidates who are interested in undertaking the course must have at least a minimum of 60% in their school leaving exam.  This is actually the minimum of cut-off marks that maximum colleges permit. Besides, age of the candidate undertaking this course should not be more than 17 years as on the year of the ensuing admission. Candidate’s nationality is of great concern at the time of admission.
