Bhai Parmanand Institute of Business Studies is a technical institution endorsed by Government of Delhi and the institute was formed in the year 1986. The institution was given this name in honor of the popular Sikh Martyr Bhai Parmanand, who was functioning under the technical education and training department of National Capital Territory of Delhi. The institution is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and initially it was developed as a unit under polytechnic of technical education department in the year 1965. Later in the year 1972, the institution attained separate identity as institute of commercial practice. The institution has contributed to train the students in job-oriented-cum-vocational courses in the streams of entrepreneurship development, secretarial practice and management.

Courses offered:

The institute offers Master of computer application, master of business administration, and bachelor of business administration. The college is also offering a three year diploma course in Modern Office Practice both in Hindi and English medium and this course is affiliated to Board of Technical education.

Admission procedure:

The college is admitting students to the modern office practice course based on the marks secured by the students in Common Entrance Test, which is conducted by the Board of Technical education. On the other hand, admission to master of business administration and computer application is done through another CET held by GGSIP University.
